Platform Comparison

FoodAmigos vs Supaorder

FoodAmigos is the cheaper subscription — $35 a month per restaurant on its GloriaFood migration page, with setup included — and it is scoped to ordering, website and marketing. Supaorder costs more per location and puts the branded apps, the register, the kitchen screen, the kiosk and the driver app in that one price.

What FoodAmigos is

FoodAmigos is a commission-free online ordering platform from FoodAmigos GmbH in Germany. Its plan bundles a restaurant website, online ordering, QR code ordering, table reservations, loyalty points, promo codes and automated email marketing, with a white-label mobile app sold as an add-on on its GloriaFood pricing page. It runs a white-label partner program for GloriaFood resellers, and it connects to POS systems such as Toast, Clover, Genius and Revel rather than selling a register, kitchen display or kiosk of its own. GloriaFood’s own homepage names FoodAmigos as a provider its customers can move to.

How this page is written

Every FoodAmigos cell below states only what FoodAmigos publishes on its own website — no review-site figures, no analyst numbers. Where they publish nothing, the cell says not published rather than claiming the feature is missing. The pages we read and the date we read them are at the bottom, so you can check any row yourself in one click.

Scorecard: 6 to Supaorder, 2 to FoodAmigos, 6 level — by our own reading of the 14 criteria above. Read the rows, not the tally.

  1. 1. Commission on orders — FoodAmigos’ partner page tells resellers they can "charge your restaurant partners a monthly SaaS fee or take a cut on every order", so a restaurant buying FoodAmigos through a reseller should ask that reseller whether a per-order charge applies.
  2. 2. Branded iOS & Android apps under your brand — The $19 add-on is on FoodAmigos’ GloriaFood pricing page. Its main pricing page lists a mobile app under "What’s included" without a price, so ask FoodAmigos which applies to you.
  3. 3. POS integrations — FoodAmigos’ online-ordering page answers "Which POS systems does FoodAmigos integrate with?" with "contact us and we’ll check compatibility", so confirm your own POS with them rather than relying on the count.
  4. 4. Pricing published publicly — These figures are on FoodAmigos’ GloriaFood pricing page (gloriafood.foodamigos.io). The pricing page on foodamigos.io describes "one clear price" and lists what is included, but shows no figure (it offers a demo instead), so we quote the GloriaFood page only.
Their Case

When FoodAmigos Is the Better Choice

We would rather you buy the right thing than buy ours. These are the cases where that is not us.

You want the lowest monthly price per restaurant

FoodAmigos publishes $35 a month per restaurant on its GloriaFood page, with setup and migration included and the first month free for GloriaFood customers. Supaorder starts from $129 per location in the US. If you only need online ordering and a website, that difference is the decision.

Your POS is on their list and not ours

FoodAmigos names Genius and Revel alongside Toast and Clover, and says it reaches more. We sync two-way with Clover, Square and Toast, and nothing else. If you run a different till, ask FoodAmigos to confirm yours — it may be the reason to choose them.

Your website and Google listing are the gap

FoodAmigos sells an SEO website, a Google Business Profile connection, review replies and table reservations in the same plan as ordering. If the restaurant’s web presence is the thing you are trying to fix, that is their pitch, and it is not ours.

Our Case

When Supaorder Is the Better Choice

You want the register, the kitchen screen and the kiosk too

FoodAmigos is ordering, website and marketing that connect to your POS. Supaorder includes the POS register, kitchen display, self-order kiosk and in-store loyalty tablet in the per-location price, on one menu and one price book.

You want the branded apps in the price

On FoodAmigos’ GloriaFood pricing the white-label app is a $19 monthly add-on per restaurant. On Supaorder the iOS and Android apps are included on every plan and published under your brand.

You run your own drivers

FoodAmigos publishes delivery-network integrations and a FirstDelivery integration for fleet management, but no driver app of its own. Supaorder includes a driver app with live GPS and distance, load and vehicle auto-dispatch, alongside DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Shipday and Nash.

Questions

Supaorder vs FoodAmigos FAQ

Is FoodAmigos the official GloriaFood replacement?

GloriaFood’s homepage says Oracle does not offer a direct replacement for GloriaFood, and names FoodAmigos as a provider that offers onboarding resources for GloriaFood customers who choose to move to it. FoodAmigos’ own GloriaFood pages do not describe a partnership with Oracle, and neither do we. Treat it as one platform on your shortlist, and test it against the same questions as any other.

What does FoodAmigos cost?

On its GloriaFood pricing page FoodAmigos publishes an all-in-one plan at $35 a month per restaurant, partner pricing of $25 a month per location from 20 locations, a $19 monthly add-on for the white-label mobile app and a $29 monthly add-on for its pro website builder. Setup and migration are included, there is no commission, and the first month is free for migrating GloriaFood customers. Supaorder is from $129 per location in the US, with prices set per market elsewhere, and includes the apps and the in-store suite.

Does FoodAmigos include a POS or a kitchen display?

FoodAmigos publishes no register, kitchen display or kiosk of its own. It connects to the POS systems it names, including Toast, Clover, Genius and Revel. Supaorder includes a register, kitchen display, kiosk and loyalty tablet in the subscription and syncs two-way with Clover, Square and Toast.
