Food tax on restaurant orders across Europe
In 8 of the 15 countries here, a dish eaten in and the same dish taken away can carry different tax, so the order type has to be set up correctly before launch. Each country guide gives the rates and links the tax authority's own page.

|---|---|---|
| Austria | Umsatzsteuer (USt) | Same rate |
| Belgium | TVA / btw | Different rates |

General information from each country's tax authority, not tax advice; your accountant confirms the treatment of your menu.

Launching in Europe
What is common across the region
Strong customer authentication
Card payments across the EEA and the UK trigger bank challenges routinely. Test the challenged and failed paths, not just the happy one.
Local method per country
Card acceptance is the floor. The method customers actually reach for differs by country and is listed on each page, marked live or on request.
VAT, receipts and fiscal devices
Receipt and fiscal-register obligations differ by country (Italy, Austria and Germany in particular). Bring your accountant’s requirements to the demo; the subscription does not set them.
Questions about Europe
Is there one price for Europe?
No. Euro-area countries share one published EUR ladder on Supaorder; the UK, Switzerland, Poland and the Nordics carry their own currency or USD plan. Countries without a page are quoted per market.
Do you support the local payment method in my country?
Each country page lists the best-fit methods and marks each one live or built on request. Name the method at the demo and the quote confirms scope and timeline.
